From Venice to Unknown

Venice is blessed with a plethora of flights from all around the UK with flights from most major airports to one of the two local airports, Marco Polo & Treviso (served mainly by Ryanair). We have transfers organised at set points throughout the day which will allow you to enjoy a direct transfer to the festival site whenever you arrive. Rijeka Airport is the second closest airport to Unknown by distance, and is located around 15 miles from the centre of Rijeka on the island of Krk. There are a few direct flights a week from the UK to Rijeka Airport; a Sunday flight from London Stansted operated by Ryanair and a Wednesday / Thursday flight from London Heathrow operated by Croatia Airlines. Trieste is in a perfect location for Unknown, just across the border in Italy and only around three hours (by coach) from the airport to the festival site. It’s a stunning city, fusing its Italian roots with more neighbourly influences (it sits by the border to Slovenia) and has good connections with Rovinj and Croatia in general. Continue »
